The Tutors
A Maxamoo recommendation…
The Tutors uniquely captures the humor and pain of life in New York City at this exact moment, especially for anyone connected to New York’s booming tech scene.
This play tells the story of three friends building a startup company and their ensuing personal meltdowns. There are some hilarious twists and delightfully painful conflicts. To avoid ruining the reveals we’ll go no further describing the plot.
Accordingly, all of the reviews below come with a heavy spoiler alert and we recommend not reading them. Bottom line the reviews are good but nitpick-y about certain plot developments. Plot developments that we enjoyed.
The Tutors is at Second Stage’s uptown venue at Broadway and 76th Street. It was just extended through June 23rd. Tickets are $34-$39.
