Phoebe In Winter
Part of Clubbed Thumb’s Summerworks (the theater company’s annual festival of new plays), Phoebe In Winter is the story of war and its impact on family.
A father anxiously awaits the return of his three sons from war, when suddenly a woman from the war zone (the eponymous Phoebe) barges in and dishes out some retribution of her own.
Over the course of the show, the company transforms the stage from a simple home to an insane battlefield as actors smash plates, throw food, take baths, and set off massive explosions.
