The Taming of the Shrew by Pulse Ensemble Theatre – Location, Reviews
Shakespeare’s classic, The Taming of the Shrew, gets an outdoor revival in Pulse Ensemble Theatre’s ninth season of summer theater. The outdoor setting, situated directly on the Hudson River, provides some romantic ambiance for this bawdy and, let’s be honest, slightly sexist play.
Lucentio and Bianca fall in love as Katherine learns to be a proper lady and wife while the sun sets on the river in this amphitheater at Riverbank State Park. The event is free.
Maxamoo recommends bringing a blanket or cushion to sit on (the amphitheater has concrete bench seats) and bug spray.

REVIEWS
What may be Shakespeare’s most culturally outdated play (message: wives should defer to their husbands absolutely) remains one of his most fun, especially when performed with this production’s high spirits and quick wit.
