Good Person of Szechwan – Location, Reviews, Tickets

Fresh from a super hot run at La MaMa, The Foundry Theatre transfers its production of the Good Person of Szechwan to The Public Theater. It stars Taylor Mac, the legendary actor, singer, cabaret performer, and performance artist and includes original, folky-indie-rock music from César Alvarez with The Lisps.

Regarding the production at La MaMa, the New York Times said “Here is a show that must be seen, must, must, must!”

The praise for this remounting of the production at the Public is no less staggering. The Times called it “sublime” and Time Out New York called Mac “staggeringly charismatic” and his performance “a virtuosic star turn.”

We concur, go see it.
