After a hugely successful run at Rattlestick Theater earlier this year, Buyer and Cellar has transferred down the street to the slightly-larger Barrow Street Theatre.
The story sounds goofy, an out-of-work actor staffs a fake mall in Barbra Streisand’s basement, but trust us (and every theater reviewer alive) it’s hilarious.
This show feels more like hanging out with Michael Urie hearing him tell a funny story, rather than watching a stage performance. If only the evening could continue over post-show drinks and additional amusing tales. Urie is so damn charming.
