I’m Getting My Act Together And Taking It On The Road
As part of New York City Center’s ENCORES! Off-Center performance series, I’m Getting My Act Together And Taking It On The Road will run for five performances in July.
This very popular musical from the 1970s follows a former pop star attempting a comeback. Her songs shed the frivolous romanticism of her early career and instead tackle hot-button women’s issues.
Renée Elise Goldsberry (The Color Purple) will star, additional casting has not been announced. Kathleen Marshall (Nice Work If You Can Get It,Anything Goes) will direct and choreograph.
