FringeNYC: KINEMATIK – Location, Tickets, Reviews
KINEMATIK is a multimedia dance production composed of two pieces by the Kinematik Dance Theater. Maxamoo caught a brief preview performance and we were impressed. We added it to this list as a result. The performance includes pounding music, light projections, and mannequin parts, all incorporated into mesmerizing dance routines. For a sense of the show check out the video. If there is such a thing as “disturbing in a good way,” this is it.

Maxamoo attended a full performance of Kinematik today and it did not disappoint. This is thought-provoking work that will keep even non-dance-lovers entertained.
