Like That? Try This!

If you know the movies you like, but can’t find your way in the vast world of New York theater, may we suggest:

Alice-Then She Fell

If you like the imaginative and surreal world of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland in any of its film adaptations, Then She Fell by Third Rail Projects is the next step for you.

Then She Fell is an immersive, multi-disciplinary adaption of Alice in Wonderland incorporating dance, music, magic, and more staged at the The Kingsland Ward at St. Johns, a century-old, multi-level, institutional facility in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Each performance is limited to an audience of 15 and we recommend you be one of them.

Kung Fu - Enter the Dragon

If you’re a fan of Bruce Lee and his groundbreaking martial arts films, such as Enter the Dragon, you owe it to yourself to see the exceptionally entertaining Kung Fu at Signature Theatre.

A bio-play about Lee’s rise to stardom, Kung Fu weaves together dance, Chinese opera, and – of course – a dazzling display of martial arts. The gorgeous and talented Cole Horibe plays Lee.

Oceans11-fast company

Intricate heists, unlikely collaborations, and big risks and rewards are components of the best caper films out there, including Ocean’s Eleven, one of our favorites. These are also the elements of Fast Company, a fast-paced, spunky production at Ensemble Studio Theatre.

It’s the story of Blue, a con artist, and her dysfunctional crew. But instead of the usual “bag of tricks,” they employ game theory to engage in psychological battle with the ever-shifting target of their con.
