American Realness 2014

American Realness is an annual festival of experimental dance and category-defying performances that explore the theme of realness. Thomas Benjamin Snapp Pryor, in partnership with Abrons Arts Center, created and curates the festival.

American Realness is celebrating its fifth anniversary and this year offers a feast of performing arts over 11 days with 17 works in 52 performances, four exhibitions, and two dance classes. The Abrons Arts Center hosts all performances and exhibitions, except La Substance and But In English (which are at MoMA PS1) and Dancing For Nothing (which is at the Museum of Modern Art).
