Japan Society
Founded in 1907, Japan Society is an American nonprofit organization dedicating to connecting the people of the U.S. and Japan through arts, culture, language, business and policy-making programs.
Japan Society presents fine art, movies, and theater performances year-round. Its Performing Arts Program began in 1953. Japan Society created a permanent stage for the program in 1971. Over the years, Japan Society has presented numerous works inspired by the arts and culture of Japan.
