Nothing to Hide – Location, Tickets, Reviews
Making magic shows cool again, Nothing to Hide is taking New York by storm after a successful run in Los Angeles.
Aimed at “abandoning the antiquated notions of a traditional magic show,” young, sleight-of-hand magicians Derek DelGaudio and Helder Guimarães created and perform Nothing to Hide. It is directed by TV star and magic enthusiast Neil Patrick Harris. The New York reviews have been as kind as the LA ones, celebrating both the mind-bending trickery and the charisma of the performers. Even the New York Times hard-to-please critic Charles Isherwood was impressed by “the brilliant young magicians.”
For more behind the scenes insights listen to this Nerdist podcast, in which the creative trio behind Nothing to Hide talk about what magic means to them, how they are shaking up the world of magic, and their higher ambitions for the show.
Tickets are already selling briskly, especially the desirable seats near the front, closest to the magic.
