Off The Top Of Our Heads – Location, Tickets
Performed by Gotham City Improv’s house team, Off The Top Of Our Heads is a short form, game-based improvisational comedy show that has been around for 11 years.
The team currently consists of 6 veteran performers. They rotate in and out of scenes under host Marc Adam Smith’s instruction, who provides basic structure to the games and manages audience participation in the form of constant shouting of places, names of people, and so on. In the games, performers may be asked to compose a chorus with random phrases; make up plots using suggested locations, identities, lines of dialogue and theater genres; create jokes with particular requirements and more. The performers spin the audience’s suggestions into scenes off the top of their heads, as the name suggests, on a bare stage with no props at all.
