FringeNYC: Save the Date – Location, Tickets, Reviews
Emily has reached the point in life where all of her friends are getting married. And as if that’s not bad enough, one of those friends is Emily’s ex, Michael.
So Emily and her gay best friend, Alex, embark on a trip (that goes horribly awry, of course) for the wedding, and in the process reach some important conclusions about their place in life, love, and finally growing up.
Save The Date is a lovely and well-made musical, and even though the story-line is not that original many will relate to it. The songs are quite good, if a little old-fashioned.
