iLuminate Artist of Light – Location, Tickets, Reviews
Behold, a new craze for New York City tourists. After a sensational appearance on America’s Got Talent in 2011, iLuminate – a combo of high-tech light show and dance performance – now has its own show at New World Stages here in New York City.
The plot of this technology-and-dance show is quite thin but that’s totally beyond the point. iLuminate has developed a neat visual gimmick created by manipulating specially-made suits outfitted with LED lights on a pitch black stage. They exploit these tricks to their maximum advantage for 55 minutes. We can’t imagine it would be entertaining for much longer.
