Bill W. and Dr. Bob – Location, Tickets, Reviews

Based on the true story of the founding of Alcoholics Anonymous, Bill W. and Dr. Bob is the story of two men who battled drinking together, and defined a method that helps millions.

The play traces each man’s path to his own rock-bottom, their mutual redemption, and their attempt to get “just one more drunk” to join them. It takes a while for them to do all that — over 2 stretchy hours — and there are no theatrical fireworks, but the sincerity of the play, its reflection of reality, and its non-judgmental approach (along with the the AA ads in the program and the non-alcoholic bar) make for a sincere story of triumph and send a very clear message.
