We’re Gonna Die – Location, Tickets, Reviews
Young Jean Lee is back at Lincoln Center with We’re Gonna Die. Partly a rock concert, partly a philosophical endeavor, We’re Gonna Die, performed by Lee and her band Future Wife, celebrates in song the only element we all have in common: death.
The show is sold out, and for good reason: touchingly funny, extremely personal yet universally identifiable, We’re Gonna Die shakes you and simultaneously comforts you, just as Lee promises in her introduction.
We’re Gonna Die premiered in 2011 and Lee won a special citation OBIE award for the production. On August 6th, Lee and Future Wife released an album of songs from the show. You can check it out on iTunes and Amazon.
